Applying for Spectrum

This application form should be used when applying for the use of radio spectrum in Guernsey.

An applicant must first be a licensee under the Telecommunications (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2001 before applying for spectrum for use in Guernsey, any applications from non-licensees will be automatically rejected.

Applicants should also consult the GCRA Spectrum Licensing Framework and Spectrum & Numbering before completing this form.

Please note the process outlined in the Spectrum & Numbering (right-click to open in new tab) section of this website: if your application is approved, the GCRA will make a recommendation to Ofcom for the grant of spectrum in line with the GCRA’s assessment. Any grant of spectrum will be subject to Ofcom’s formal approval and will therefore not take effect immediately.
