John Curran
Chairman
John is a former Chief Executive of GCRA and led the integration of the Guernsey and Jersey regulators in 2010. He was Director General of the Guernsey Office of Utility Regulation from January 2005 before being asked to also head up the JCRA in 2010.
John is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Guernsey Data Protection Authority. He is Chairman of the Guernsey Employment Trust.
Before moving to Guernsey 2003, John worked with the largest telecoms provider in Australia, Telstra, and the Irish telecoms regulator, Comreg, where he was involved with the introduction of competition to the communications market.
